A woman receives the jewelled light of the crescent moon. Her diaphanous dress and jewellery reflect the moon's cool light, as does the tips of the trees behind in the near distance. Those trees add a warm, earthy tone in this blue, pastoral scene.

This image was painted throughout December 2021. The actual image size is 21 x 26cm (8.25 x 10.25 inches). I've used thin washes of acrylic colour over graphite lines. My favourite combination is this Phthalo Blue and Burnt Sienna with highlights in Titanium White. It is painted in Winsor & Newton professional acrylics and protected with a fine layer of Archival Gloss Varnish. Ready to hang in a professionally made black, wooden, tray frame. Packed carefully and sent by Courier along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
