Description: Dusk scene where a woman awaits her beloved; he's coming into view top left to kiss her lips; she stands in front of a dark landscape with twin trees on the horizon.
In this painting I was inspired by a line of Hafiz poetry "The lips of the one I love are my perpetual pleasure; the Lord be praised for my heart's desire is attained..."(a beautiful poem that has inspired me to create many pictures) The flowers are called "Nigella / Love in a Mist" which is one of my favourite flowers.
