A woman's face with closed eyes; her swirling hair enclosing her. The paint drops begin to form a pattern near the edges of the painting to create tiny flower shapes. My inspiration for finishing off the image was the flowers in bloom in my garden just beside my table, where I work when it's sunny. See one of the photographs of the forget-me-nots beside the frame, another under electric light to show the subtle shine of the gold. The predominant colours are blue and white, with imitation gold flakes at the top right which I've covered with a layer of transparent Burnt Sienna. Drawn in graphite and loosely painted in professional acrylics on Pebeo Canvas board (20 x 20cm / 8 x 8"). Framed, floated, in a wooden tray frame; ready to hang. Sent by Tracked Delivery with a Certificate of Authenticity.
