Trina Bohan's new work continues and includes not just skyscapes of Scotland but also the naturally formed and man made havens of the Hebrides and its coastlines. Contrasting large skies with calmer interior waters, makes for interesting studies of land and sky. Notebooks fill up and transient seasonal colours are noted. The palette is an earth toned landscape one with more than a nod to the cobalts and then … the orange. The canvas’s grow larger and sketch books seem to fill themselves.
Trina Bohan has exhibited in Africa, Indonesia, Bangladesh, USA and the Pacific. She is also the illustrator of two Balinese Children’s story books Balinese Children’s Favorite Stories and A club of small men, from Bangladesh Street Traders of Bangladesh.
