Ni Chunlei, an oil painter, was born in 1984 in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province of China. He studied for four years and got a Bachelor Degree in Oil Painting from Xinhua University in China. He used to be an art teacher in university but now is a professional oil painter. He has published his own oil painting book "Oil Painting of Ni Chunlei" in 2014, and earned a lot of prizes in China in the past years. Main prizes include:

In 2018, Winner in 2018 online Open No-theme Art Exhibition & Competition, organized by Contemporary Art Gallery online in USA

In 2017 won “Outstanding Works” in the 6th Jiangsu Artists’ Paintings Exhibition (Jiangsu Province, China)

In 2015 won “Outstanding Works” in “Painting Chengdu” (Sichuan Province, China)

In 2014, published his own painting book “Oil Painting of Ni Chunlei” (China)

In 2013 Painting “Girl” was invited to join exhibition organized by Teachers of Art of Sichuan Universities and Colleagues Association (Sichuan Province, China)

Personal philosophy:

I cherish tradition because it is created thousands of years by human culture. That is why I love Chinese Bronze so much. The rusts and spots seem telling stories when you touch them. You can see that each of painting contains elements of bronze. I would say, I am a Chinese Bronze painter in the Iron Age.
