Artist Statement -

In my artistic career I experimented with elements of nature as pictorial language. For every creation germination of idea becomes a necessity. When you look at a big tree can you imagine the germination of a small seed! This inspires to explore the unfamiliar seed which conceive undefined shape with surprises.

Further I explored the new possibilities of current developments in printing technology such as transfer of images through digital or photographic process in all traditional techniques. Instead of depending on available images in the web world I have the privilege to capture the desired images through the lens and use them for developing my creations through traditional techniques.

In this series face becomes a mirror of personality. One cannot hide the inner feelings like fear, anger, uncertainty, happiness, depression, etc. The face eventually expresses the mental status of balance or imbalance simultaneously.

Recently our society is witnessing dramatic changes in the way we live. The integration of mechanical devices has impacted our life, personal as well as social. My real calling is to take notice of humans controlling the life we have been controlled by the machines. We get overwhelmed by its impact and get carried away by it. This reflects in our every activity including personal and public life.
