Dmitry Sevryukov began his artistic studies in 1986 at the art workshop of Anatoly Bezbatko. After five years, in 1991, he further continued his studies at the Kiev Academy of Arts. Since 1994, he has been actively engaged in creative activities, including participating in numerous art exhibitions and international festivals.
Dmitry's work was recognised by the international association of world realists, Art Renewal Center, when his name was included in the list of the best realists in the world. His work “Peacocks” was a finalist of the international competition organized by the art publication "The Artists Magazine."
In July 2013, Dmitry was declared the artist of the month according to Fine Art World. In the same year, the Center for the Renewal of Arts (ARC) he was recognized as a Master in the ARCLM category by ARC Living Master ™ category.
Artist StatementRealism needs rehabilitation and a Flemish-style still life is exactly what is needed for this. I try to work with respect to the masters of previous eras and to the standards of painting of the Middle Ages. I hope that what I do will appeal to lovers of painting wherever they live.
