From the "Fashion Is Art" collection, featuring my own fashion designs. This is one of my fashion designs (from the early 1980's) set against a background of the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles, California, where I spent most of my life. Acrylics with 3/4" star-shaped genuine Swarovski AB crystals, faceted gold beads, gold leaf paint, and chiffon fabric with sequin dots. Fabric has serged edges and has been securely sewn onto the canvas at the model's left shoulder and along the right arm with gold beads and is free-flowing. Beads and crystals are also sewn onto the canvas. The stars in this picture will twinkle as the viewer moves in the room and the chiffon pieces will flutter in the breeze!
