With three separate locations The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) is the main art museum located in downtown Seattle opened in 1991, with the Seattle Asian Art Museum (SAAM) be founded in 1994 and located at Volunteer Park, and down at central Seattle waterfront you will find the Olympic Sculpture Park which opened to the public in 2007 .

The museum can trace its origins back to 1905 and the foundation of the Seattle Fine Arts Society, which later merged with the Washington Arts Association in 1917. 

The museum’s collections of modern and ethnic art are notable, with works from Europe, 20th century American paintings and a respected collection of Aboriginal Australian Art.

Exhibition Hours: Wednesday – Sunday: 10am to 5pm
