Jann works with watercolours & coloured inks, painting freely & loosely with the rhythm of paint on paper, then adding line & pattern in the later stages to create a finished piece. For her collage pieces, Jann uses elements from her watercolour paintings, matching intricate pieces of pattern & colour to develop the overall image & design.
Her artworks are inspired by nature’s little stories, translating the world around into patterns, shapes & colours, conveying feelings & experiences rather than realistic representations.
In contrast, Dar’s painting style is succinct symbolism & geometric spiritual representation, using aerosols & acrylics on different base types.
With a passion for street art, sigils & symbolic messages, her style is bohemian & feminine, encompassing themes of harmony & wholeness as an individual & within the wider world.
She aims for her artworks to inspire a feeling of calm & clarity of mind.
