The European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) is housed in a 18th century mansion, with artworks spread over three floors. The Museum features works by artists from the 20th and 21st century, containing a collection of artworks that includes Art-Deco, contemporary figurative art, modern sculpture including 20th century Catalan sculptures too.
MEAM opened it's doors to the public, with the support of the “Foundation for the Arts and Artists”, an art foundation created in 2005 to promote figurative artists. The MEAM thus became the first and most direct material expression of a journey of work and effort that the Foundation has maintained since its beginnings.
